ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

 

BLNKPG is a marketing agency focused on agriculture clients, located in downtown Indianapolis. We are seeking an account coordinator to work beside our project management and account management teams on client efforts. The account coordinator will be asked to participate in client meetings as needed, but will largely engage with team members on developing and executing client work. 

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide day-to-day client service and support

  • Participate in team brainstorming and strategy sessions

  • Copywrite collateral, press releases, social posts, media outreach, etc.

  • Develop and implement approved business plans: social, direct mail, email, etc.

  • Provide assigned project oversight, including proofreading, routing, spec sheet creation, etc.

  • Create and assess metric reports for goal achievement

  • Learn project-tracking system and manage project workflow

 

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • College or university graduate - business, communications, marketing, technical, or agricultural degrees preferred

  • Some communications, journalism or marketing background is preferred

  • Background in agriculture is ideal, but not required

  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting

  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team

  • Ability to manage changing priorities, and use time effectively

  • Track record of setting goals and measuring success metrics

  • Organized, detail-oriented problem-solver

  • High verbal and written communication skills - copywriting examples ideal

  • Willingness to learn new subject matter on a regular basis 

  • Social media and digital savvy


 

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

 

BLNKPG is a marketing agency focused on agriculture clients, located in downtown Indianapolis. We are seeking an account executive to work with our account management team on client efforts. The account executive will be asked to participate in client meetings, and will engage with team members on developing and executing client work on a regular basis.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide day-to-day client service and support

  • Assist in leading team brainstorming and strategy sessions

  • Copywrite collateral, press releases, social posts, media outreach, etc.

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans: social, direct mail, email, media, etc.

  • Provide assigned project oversight, including proofreading, routing, spec sheet creation, etc.

  • Manage relationships with media partners, event planners, etc., as needed

  • Create and assess metric reports for goal achievement

  • Track project status, budgets, scope and timelines on a regular basis

  • Communicate client needs to other team members effectively (creative, media, digital, project management, account management)

  • Delegate responsibility to other team members, as appropriate

  • Learn project-tracking system and manage project workflow

 

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years experience in marketing or communications field

  • College or university graduate - business, communications, marketing, technical, or agricultural degrees preferred

  • Background in agriculture ideal, but not required

  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting

  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team

  • Ability to manage changing priorities, and use time effectively

  • Track record of setting goals and measuring success metrics

  • Experience in customer-facing communications; comfort utilizing phone, email and face-to-face communication 

  • Understanding of marketing agency dynamic preferred, not required

  • Organized, detail-oriented problem-solver

  • Ability to assess strategic needs, outline solutions and execute 

  • Creative, innovative thinker

  • High verbal and written communication skills - copywriting examples ideal

  • Willingness to learn new subject matter on a regular basis

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Who are you? 

We are seeking a Creative Director to lead our creative team, and work with our project management and account management teams on client efforts. The Creative Director will be asked to participate in client meetings as needed, and will largely engage with team members on ideating, developing and executing client work. 

 

What does that mean? 

Does a blank page excite or scare you? Do you have designs that have been spinning in your head waiting for the right moment? Do you start ideating before the kickoff meeting is even over? Do you like the challenge of two weeks and three ideas needed for four different clients? Do you write, dream and ideate through a whole campaign before you’ve even started putting it on paper? Been sitting on the bench and just need a great opportunity to grow and show your leadership skills? 

 

We’re looking for someone who wants to use their creative vision to lead a team of designers and guide the creative direction for client strategies and projects. Brainstorming, designing, writing, trend-setting - just a handful of the day-to-days this Creative Director will live at BLNKPG. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage the creative process within the creative team, as well as interactions with the account, media and project management teams

  • Ideate and execute unique creative and marketing directions, concepts, campaigns and materials - including big picture strategy, messaging, print materials, digital assets (including HTML, CSS and emerging technologies), signage, promotional items, etc.

  • Develop well-crafted creative copy for marketing strategies, brand guidelines, campaigns, messaging, etc. for client and account input

  • Monitor and optimize marketing creative and direction through client and account team feedback, up-to-date trends knowledge, metrics, campaign results, etc.

  • Determine and direct creative and production schedules alongside project manager  to provide team member direction to balance workloads 

  • Participate in team brainstorming and strategy sessions

  • Remain up-to-date on competitive creative campaigns 

  • Learn project-tracking system and manage project workflow

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • College or university graduate - art, graphic design, communications, marketing  or journalism degrees preferred

  • Minimum 8 years experience; with at least 2 years as creative or art director or associate director - with, but not limited to, creative concepting, copywriting, print and digital practices

  • Background or experience in agency setting ideal, but not required

  • Background or experience in agriculture ideal, but not required

  • Background in Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and varying website platforms required

  • High verbal and written communication skills - copywriting examples requested
